What WP Resolve collects when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated October 6, 2026.

Who we are

WP Resolve provides WordPress maintenance, WooCommerce support and website repair from Sacramento, California. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean WP Resolve, and "you" means anyone who visits wpresolve.com or uses our services. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

What we collect

What you send us. When you request a free site health check, we collect your name, your email address and your website address. When you use the contact form, we also collect the topic you choose and your message. When you text us at (916) 209-0917 or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you include in the message.

When you buy a care plan or a one-time fix. Checkout runs on SureCart. You give your name, email address, billing details and payment card. Your card is handled by SureCart's payment processor; we never see or store your full card number. SureCart also keeps your order history and subscription so you can manage them in your customer dashboard.

Collected automatically. Like most websites, ours receives your IP address, browser and device type when you visit. Our forms store your IP address and browser details with each message, which helps us block spam. Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device type and your approximate location (city level, not your exact address), using cookies.

How we use it

  • To reply to your messages and texts, and to run the health check you asked for.
  • To provide the plan or fix you bought, send receipts and keep billing records.
  • To understand which pages help visitors, so we can improve the site.
  • To keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Who else handles it

We use a few trusted services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs:

  • Our web host, which stores the website and the messages sent through it.
  • SureCart and its payment processor, for checkout, payments, subscriptions and the customer dashboard.
  • Google Analytics, for visit statistics.
  • Google Maps, shown on the Contact page. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies.
  • Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces on our pages; your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
  • Our email provider, which delivers form notifications and our replies.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser saves. We use them for:

  • Analytics (Google Analytics), to count visits and see how the site is used.
  • Checkout (SureCart), to remember your cart and keep you signed in to your customer dashboard.
  • Maps (Google), when the Contact page map loads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings; checkout may not work without them. To stop Google Analytics from counting your visits, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and texts for as long as we need them to help you and keep a record of our work, and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. When we no longer need something, we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm it is you before we act, and we may keep what the law requires us to keep, such as billing records.

If you live in California, you have these rights under California law, and we will never treat you differently for using them.

Security

We protect the site with HTTPS, keep WordPress and its plugins up to date, and limit who can see the messages you send us. No website can promise perfect security, but keeping sites safe is our job and we take it seriously.

Children

This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to this privacy policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
